Product Manager résumé example for 2026
Product manager résumés fail in a specific way: they describe what the team shipped and never what the candidate decided. This example is written around decisions, trade-offs and the number that moved.

What a product manager résumé has to show
- The decision you owned, stated as a decision — what you chose and what you gave up
- A metric per bullet, with the baseline it moved from
- Team and surface size, so scope is legible without a title
- Discovery evidence: how many users, how many interviews, which data
Bullets you can adapt
Every one names a system or a surface, a change, and a number. Take the shape, not the figures — substitute your own and keep them defensible.
- Killed two roadmap bets after 30 user interviews; redirected the quarter to onboarding, which lifted activation from 22% to 39%
- Owned checkout for a 9-person team; drove conversion from 2.1% to 3.4% over three quarters (€2.6M annualised)
- Cut time-to-first-value from 11 days to 2 by removing four required setup steps
- Shipped self-serve billing, which moved 38% of small accounts off sales-assisted onboarding
- Reduced support tickets 27% by rewriting the three flows that generated most of them
- Ran the pricing migration for 4,100 existing accounts with 0.4% involuntary churn
And the ones to cut
These are duties and adjectives. They describe a job title, not a person doing it.
- Worked with engineering and design to deliver product features
- Owned the product roadmap and backlog
- Data-driven product manager with a passion for user experience

Product Manager résumé questions
How technical should a PM résumé be?
Technical enough to be trusted by engineers and no more. Name the systems you made decisions about. Listing a language you have not shipped in reads as padding to the very people who will interview you.
What if the metric did not move?
Say what you learned and what you stopped. "Killed after 30 interviews" is a stronger bullet than a shipped feature nobody used — and it is the bullet senior interviewers ask about.
Should I list the frameworks I use?
No. RICE and Jobs-to-be-Done on a résumé signal vocabulary, not judgement. Show the prioritisation call itself.
